Verne Shirk drove his 1914 `Huckster Wagon' to the 100th birthday celebration of the Model T Ford on the campus of McPherson College from Wichita on October 1. Traveling salesmen would buy a bare Model T chassis and then have a wooden body built to their specifications before hitting the road with their wares.
