The new breakfast and lunch restaurant -- part of an Oklahoma-based chain -- opened Monday at 7777 E. 21st St. (316-668-6900). It's open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Among the menu items:
1. Biscuit debris: From the breakfast menu, served all day, is this concoction of two buttermilk biscuits with country creamy gravy, grilled sausage and ham topped with melted cheddar cheese and served with home fries or hash browns.
2. Jimmy's garbage breakfast: Hash browns topped with grilled onions, bell pepper and sausage. Served with two eggs cooked to order and choice of homemade white or wheat toast or biscuit and gravy.
3. Chicken fried steak sandwich: Chopped steak that's breaded, fried crispy and served on a bun with choice of french fries, curly fries, home fries or fresh fruit.
A GOOD DEAL
Cibola, the fine dining restaurant at 1900 N. Rock Road, is responding to tough economic times by adding four lower-priced entrees to its lounge and bar menu. Each costs $18. They are: a beef tenderloin kabob served with rice pilaf and fresh asparagus; chicken penne pasta with veggies and mesquite smoked sausage; chicken Marsala with rice pilaf and fresh asparagus; and a broiled salmon salad.

Kobe II about to open
Kobe Steak House of Japan, the popular eatery at 650 N. Carriage Parkway, is about to open a west location at 2330 N. Maize Road, home of the former Tokyo Steak House. The restaurant will serve the same hibachi-style food familiar to east-side customers starting on Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving. Hours will be 5:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays; 4:30 to 10 p.m. Saturdays; and 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sundays.
HuHot now open
HuHot, one of three Mongolian grill-style restaurants planned for Wichita, opened Wednesday at 2035 N. Rock Road, Suite 115, which is behind Applebee's. The restaurant allows patrons to assemble their own Asian-style dishes from a bar of raw ingredients and sauces, which then are grilled in front of them. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, call 316-558-3630.
