Inauguration trip is short of funds
The African American Council of Elders and the Knox Center Inc. may be forced to scale back plans to take local youths to the presidential inauguration because they haven't received donations.

Arena spire is latest addition to Wichita skyline
Intrust Bank Arena got a little taller Tuesday. Dozens of people gathered to watch as an 80-foot spire was raised to its perch on the south side of the arena. The stainless-steel pole, fabricated in New York, is the tallest point of the building at 160 feet. It weighs 3,400 pounds.
